After a famous author disappears and is then found gruesomely murdered, there's only one sexually-charged team in all of England to solve the case: Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacot.
I am so addicted to this series that it isn't remotely funny. It's taken me about three days total to burn through ALL of the books, and though I may never be able to sleep in a room alone again without a nightlight and a cat, WOW DID I LOVE THEM.
There's nothing about these books that I will say is going to launch you into the halls of instant classic literature-dom, but if you're looking to really get into some very British murders, this is the place for you.
The characters are straight out of a movie. The plot lines are fresh and totally terrifying. The intrigue is real. I AM GLUED TO THESE BOOKS, and I am having trouble giving you my thoughts without revealing whodunnit.
I feel like a fangirl, but ugh just read it so I can have someone to talk to about this?
