Page & Plate Plugs: Big Star Wrigleyville
Let’s taco-bout tacos! The Big Star location that just (in 2018, that is) opened up directly across from third base at Wrigleyville has made waves, and not just because the walk between the hungover youths of Lakeview and tacos got that much shorter. The big, beautiful space is a change from their other location that used to be a gas staton in Wicker Park, and one that will serve the famed taco joint and tequila bar well as the warm weather approaches (someday … right?) and news of their new brunch menu spreads.
What’s that? You haven’t heard about their totally over-the-top, something-for-everyone, Metropolis Coffee-fueled brunch? Oh honey. You better go. Take a look at the pictures below, then snag a reservation for this weekend online. My personal favorite? The avocado huarache. That plus a cup of coffee is going to rock your world. And don’t leave the kiddos at home. They have an adorable baby brunch basket that may or may not have tempted me to find a friend with a child so I can have an excuse to order it.
